Keep nozzle approximately 8–12 inches from the surface
Use long, even strokes and full board passes whenever possible

Want that extra pop? Follow up with an oxalic acid rinse for brightening and neutralization. Not required if rinsed thoroughly, but it’ll leave the wood looking downright magical.
